GLORB is honestly fascinating. It's a visual meditation, and well designed! I had to massage some of its triangular panel intersections to fully engage them after unboxing; other than that the build quality is pretty solid. The included base is a great way to present GLORB on a desktop, but needs some reconsideration in also serving as a ceiling mount. Its design relies on friction between the mount and cable rather than a solid mechanical connection to the ceiling, which in practice is difficult to install flush to the ceiling in a visually appealing way. From a technical perspective, it's a marvel to watch. From a mechanical perspective there are some opportunities for improvement.

I have 3 Globs 2 are perfect.. The build quality of one of them is downright poor; there are gaps and holes at every corner, and some of the little triangles are so loose that they’re almost falling off. I want to upload images but this website says the images are 'invalid'? wtf? I habe

A great mesmerising light with lots of controls available to customise to your liking. Has a switch off timer available would be good if a switch on timer was in the settings.

Awesome and really cool light feature or yoour hom, business or party location. Awesome that you can sync them and have them as an array. Only downside is/was that the android app was late and is not quite finished/polished as of yet (28.03.2025). Also I do not like that I have an open access point in my home with the GLORB but you can with a little bit of trouble on your side close it up/secure it.

The GLORB looks amazing! There are many different settings to change the display patterns and the colours as we want. New connectibilities are being developed actively. The whole sales and devs are very reactive and are very transparent about the product. It is a young Swedish company, of course there are issues, for example, my GLORB's sound reactivity doesn't work properlly yet, but I'm sure the team will come up with a solution soon.

It is a cool light to put in my room. Things that could improve. A more sturdy base. a removable usb connection on the light. A higher quality usb cable. I have the light connected to a switch box, would love the light to stay off when switch is turned on, then turn the light on by app.

I'm one of the many backers and the wait was painful, but well worth it! I've had it for a couple of months now and it works great. The power adapter that was included died on me the first day, so I had to use a spare one while waiting for a replacement. The people behind this company are super nice and incredibly service minded! They have been very quick to reach out whenever I've contacted them, and I got the replacment adapter in no time! The Glorb itself is a beautiful piece, I like how it looks both on and off, very minimalistic but can also really pop! And it's a lot of fun to play around with the colors and effects. I was kind of worried about the quality of the package. But it was nicley packed in a really clean looking and solid box. There are a few cons but no major ones I suppose. - the power adapters, seem cheap since I'm not the only one who needed a replacement. However, the second one works great som far. -the S-shaped cable hook. It was a bit finicky to put the cable in it, the curves seem pretty sharp and kind of worries me that the cable will take damage from it over time. Since the edges seem kind of sharp and might dig into the cable. Hoppfully I'm wrong. -no officiall app for Android att launch. Not a big deal to me really. Sure Wled is ugly but it works. The officiall app will be released sooner or later. - I wish there were more effects optimized/designed for the glorb at launch. Not a big deal to me either, since more will come soon. There are a bunch of nice ones to choose from and then there are a few that works and looks less nice. The sound reactive feature works really nice. It seems to mainly catch on to thumping/bass noises. But it like it a lot. It goes well with my other sound reactive lights that reacts more to other type of sounds. I wish it was able to light up even brighter. Dont get me wrong its bright enough. But not Nanolife bright perhaps. This is certainly a 'mood light' and not something I'd recommend you to replace your main light source(es) with. -The ceiling cup/table stand is a bit small. I place mine in the cieling and I'm having trollet making the cup flush with the cieling, there is a small gap that annoys me. It probably could be solved by replacing the hook/mount in the cieling but I'm to Lady for that. The Glorb team have mentioned that they are planning om making bigger cups or extenders, which would be nice. Also, it probably wouldnt take to much effort to DIY some kind of extender to remove that gap between the cup and the cieling. Its not perfect, the cons are no big deals IMO. I'm really happy with my purchase and dont regnet it one bit! If you like rgb stuff, mood lights or whatever you call it, and enjoy turning your home into a night club every now and then. Get it for sure!

Very cool light. The setup was relatively easy for iphone. The Android took a little bit longer to setup but with wled has more options to play with colours and light configurations. Glorb packaging was excellent not damaged at all. Has worked seamlessly since we turned it on. Fantastic light you will be mesmerised for hours. Great work guys we love our Glorb.

Little hickups with communication, but overall very good experience
For a Kickstarter newbie, this went astonishingly well. They communicated all steps on the way, with occasional breaks, and it quickly became clear that they won't take our money and leave us standing in the rain. The Glorb was eventually shipped, about a month later than the last ETA, and the team even replied quickly and personally to a complaint and shipped out a replacement unit right away. If they are quicker next time to handle communications when things go awry with shipping, it's a 5/5 experience.

I think the Glorb is absolutely fantastic! The design is good and solid! The Glorb looks very nice and can stand in the living room as decoration. I only expected more from the possibilities with the app. I expected that I could determine more myself in terms of colors or let the colors dance along to the music. Hopefully this will come in the future.

I was one of the backers, ordered during the launch. I'm impressed by the quality and commitment by the team. Given how many Kickstarter campaigns go, I think the fulfillment of this one was really well executed. The only complaints I have would be the packaging, I think it could have used more cardboard or sustainable packaging instead of foam plastics. The product may lend itself more to event spaces, gaming rooms or youngsters rather than your living room. The lack of a dedicated android app is something I hope will be remedied soon. But in conclusion, I'm happy with the product and impressed with the Glorb team.
