The GLORB ☆☆☆☆☆★★★★★This lamp is so striking in its simplicity and design. Turned off its a futuristic sculpture in pure white, but when it's on, it's a dynamic array of colour, rhythm and joy to behold. It brings so much pleasure to sit and watch the many varied effects and colours the light can produce. It feels a premium product from first opening the packaging, to the quality of the Glorb and use of the App to control and configure it. This is a superb lamp anyone who sees it in action will fall in love with!

The Glorb is a captivating light source. Its many moving light designs are fascinating and seem to set the mood in the room where the device is positioned. You can create many new and dazzling light patterns yourself. The Glorb is a Very interesting device.

Joined the Kickstarter project as one of the early pledgers. From the first moment, the communication was very good. Despite the delay on delivery at the end, the team kept us informed about the progress with pictures/videos from the factory. When the Glorbs finally arrived, it was worth the wait! Amazing devices! I love to seem them shining. Thanks Glorb team!

When the Glorb appeared on Kickstarter, I had a feeling this would a) go well, in the sense of: it will be financed and actually ship and b) a wonderful piece of lighting. Up until the end, the Kickstarter campaign went smoothly, and it was wonderous how the team managed to jump around roadblocks and still manage to ship out their Glorbs in the end. They had quite a halt in communication when the first batch, or the first two actually, should have shipped to us backers, which was unprecedented for them, but they quickly caught up and in the end, sent out the Glorbs to us happy folks. And lo and behold, while I know they are working on an improved version, even the first iteration is truly wonderful. It's not just some LEDs thrown together, with the right settings, this is soothing and entertaining to watch, a bit like staring into a fire. They somehow managed to let the LEDs work so smoothly, and the material of the Glorb makes you only see a bath of light instead of staring into a heap of single lights. I'm fascinated for how long this keeps being interesting. I had ordered two Glorbs, and the first one was a bit dented on some panels, so I got a replacement for it, very quickly indeed. It seems to have been a bit of trouble with packaging, which they state they have improved meanwhile. The only real downsides are missing W LEDs (it's only RGB), so the Glorbs in their first version are not suited to use as normal lights as I was hoping for (they had 'added' it as a free upgrade in the campaign, but favoured manufacturing and shipping a working first version without RGBW instead of delaying things any longer). Plus the Android version of the app, you still have to rely on the WLED+ app to get all the functionality of the Glorb, and many presets in there don't work well for the Glorb due to its physicality. Although not everything went according to plan, and things can be improved, I'm happy to stare at my two Glorbs whenever I'm in my studio, and despite my expectations, it never starts stressing me, quite the contrary. It's as beautiful as it looks in the promo videos and pictures, and will hopefully be improved throughout time.

GLORB is a great piece of tech/art. Quality is excellent. The rhythmic glow is alluring. I haven't gotten into the programming much yet, but the option is there to sink yourself into if you choose. Glad to have one in my possession!
